experts, scholars and management personnel from wwtp design, research, operation and construction organizations across china shared typical successful cases of wwtp upgrading and had a discussion on the future development direction of wastewater treatment technology.
at the seminar, cweg beijing technology r&d center dr. cao xiaoxin made a report entitled “reflections on the practice of beijing tongzhou bishui underground wwtp upgrading”, in which the wwtp upgrading project’s background, technological process, key parameters and construction achievements of the ecological complex were introduced in detail. the wwtp is an example that truly realizes the goal of “eco-friendliness, land intensiveness and resource utilization” through institutional innovation and planning concept & technology innovation, ensuring a benign water environment for beijing’s sub-center tongzhou, and drawing great attention of attendees.
the purpose of this seminar was to probe into technical requirements for wwtp upgrading to meet the existing high discharge standards, and build a brand ecosystem of core wwtp upgrading technologies to comprehensively showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the field of wastewater treatment in china and even the world.
the seminar also witnessed the award ceremony of water treatment technology innovation “9tone cup” co-sponsored by china water and wastewater magazine and zhuhai 9tone water service inc. the technical paper published by cweg won the first prize.
